I notice it mentions Krypton. If I install will it automatically replace my current build with Krypton only I'm not sure I like the look of it?

Do you use vanilla kodi or dbmc? Krypton Kodi will update to 17. Your current build may be incompatible. In which case, uninstall Kodi 17, nip over to Kodi.tv web site and the older Kodi versions section and download Kodi 16.1. Then reinstall your build of choice.
If your build is on dbmc then there will be no impact.

And by the way, you can load the confluence skin in Kodi 17 so it looks exactly the same as the Kodi Jarvis (16) skin you are probably familiar with.

Thanks for that. Ill make sure all my addons are compatible first - Ive only got 4 I use so Im sure they will be OK.
I have Exodus - Specto and a couple of others - has anyone used these on Kodi 17 please?
