If 5 or later you could see if the latest version of kodi 17.3 in the google play store loads (it will not install on anything less than 5).
But some googling reveals mixed results.

What i need to find is the Honeycomb 3.1 update Zip file but every link I find turns up dead or broken.
That is such an old machine that I will be surprised if you if find anything.
As we are all users of Droidbox here, other than our ability to google the same thing as you, I doubt we will be able to help much, though someone may find something (googling returned matches to your search criteria, but as you say, how many are working is another thing).
