m8 box blue light on front nothing else

Hi new to the forum..Been using my m8 box for just over a year without any issues .Put the box on today and all i get is blue light on front but no logo or boot .Any ideas what could be the cause ? tried to reset with pin in back of box but no luck.Is the box no good ?

Maybe the signal isn't getting to your tv. So try a different hdmi lead and/or different hdmi port on tv and/or a different tv.

Just tried a new hdmi cable and noticed that when i move the cable at the tv socket the box flickers on the screen (blue light stays stable) and the logo comes on .I think it's the socket on the tv and not the cable .If i leave it once it's on and leave the cable still it is fine.Hopefully this should do the trick.Thanks.

Had problems again today with the box.Thought it was a connection issue at tv but i think it is the box at fault as wiggling connection does not help.Getting blue light on the box and logo appearing before going blank and saying no signal .Any ideas ?cheers

Hi yes tried a different port on the tv but don't have a second tv to try on ..

Might be worth contacting the supplier of your device, see if they have recommendations or perhaps firmware you could try to flash to it.

old post i know but i the problem you had is a firmware problem you need to put new firmware on
