Sorry to hear about that. When you clear the cache, are you using an add-on within XBMC to do this, or the Apps menu within Android's settings? It is worth rebooting the device or force closing XBMC if the latter.

Seems ok now. 1 thing I notice now is if I search links in some add ons now i get a black screen and have to reboot

If it still does that after wiping XBMC's data and re-running the wizard & you have the time/energy, can you let us know the specific add-ons/searches/streams that causes this, please?
