Hello all. I am new to this forum, although I been using xbmc for a while now.

I am running it on windows 7 with pretty much all adds on everyone else is using. Yesterday after I updated to gotham 13.1 I can't seem to run any live streaming, Be it iLive, or Kimo nothing works except normal movies and shows.

It is only happening on mashup and iLive I can still run the arabic live streaming from Shahid add-on but anything else dont work. I press on any streaming it looks like it is loading but then nothing happen. Please HELP.

We officially support our customers running Android apps (including XBMC) on our devices. (For the sake of completeness, we also sell and obviously support MCE/Linux based devices).

With that out of the way (so no promises about being able to help with your specific situation) I'd look into the following:

  • Did you update to Gotham from Frodo, or did you first uninstall Frodo, then install Gotham?
  • Have you tried clearing XBMC's data, then running XBMC. The application will think it is the first time it has been run. Check http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Userdata for the Windows location. I'd just delete the whole folder.
  • I'm not sure if you have been doing this, but I'd not recommend running our DroidBOX Wizard to install add-ons. Go through the traditional manner (System>Add-ons>Get Add-ons (if the add-on you want is available from one of the pre-installed repositories) or Install from ZIP (if you have the repo's ZIP or even just an add-on's ZIP).
  • When you run an add-on, try pressing C rather than clicking on it to start the add-on. You'll often find access to a configuraiton menu. When possible, try fiddling with things like using an external player instead of XBMC, or vice versa.
  • If you run out of ideas, find an Android phone or tablet, install Gotham and see if the add-ons work on that device. This will tell you whether the add-on is fine in Gotham (and so your PC's installation of XBMC or config is the issue), or whether you should consider downgrading to Frodo temporarily, until the add-ons are updated.
If none of that helps, and no customers on this forum (we've recently rebuilt it, so it'll take a while for all to return), then the next step would be to post in a forum that covers your situation:

Official XBMC forum - http://forum.xbmc.org/ - Official forum, be careful as they don't like discussing add-ons which operate on the grey side of the law
XBMC Hub forum - http://www.xbmchub.com/forums/ - More freedom to discuss add-ons and streams that someone somewhere may have forgotten to pay for.
