I'm not sure if this tip is still valid, but hen playing a movie, select custom then whichever external video player you use (this used to work with mx player or vlc). The player should then support the downloading of subtitles.
Thanks Nigelar, I'll try that tonight. Am looking to watch the Spanish series Money Heist and as it's the T8s model I have Im limited to what I can receive on the Kodi side of things. I plan to update later on in the year
Your directions worked Nigelar but the subtitles didn't match up with the episode. I also tried the app Morpheus TV, but it couldn't find subtitles. Not to worry though, it's a Netflix show and am able to get watching it at a friend's. Thanks for your help
