mx9 remote

Hi all

is it possible to get any remote working on this?

I have a RoHS remote which came with my old mx box which gave up the ghost. so I now have a new mx9 box. Can I get the remote to work with the mx9 box as I really like this remote can't seem to get on with using my phone to control my box.

Probably not a lot of experience with your Rockchip RK3229 based device in this forum.

In general, if an infrared remote control doesn't operate a device, I'd give up. You may find you can rebuild the firmware with new IR codes accepted, do any forum members have experience of this?
