no wifi or ethernet on imx6

hi all
I recently moved my imx6 from one tv to another and since I have lost all wifi options. no networks are visible, I have also tried connecting with Ethernet cable but no luck. I tried resetting back to factory settings but that has made no difference. I also tried the post at the top of the forum but cant find the folders it refers to
does anyone have any other suggestions.

Did you try a factory reset from the Android settings menu, or the Recovery Menu you access before the device has booted?
