Hi bushwick. That's not an error message, it is just confirming that the clean up exercise has worked and there is nothing left to do. Press the home key to exit and return to the android home screen. Is there anything else not working?

hi guys,
I'm not real a tech person that knows how to use this kind of stuff. I got my box like 2 month ago, it work after inputing my password and use name. I've got the T8 box, but was talking with my friend because I was checking for a U.S. TV when he saw my screen on xbmc he said that was the old system that he was sent an update and his was well arranged with all different icon, could someone help me here if I've got the right update with my T8 box or what do I need to do, to get the current update, if a video could be posted on what my xbmc scream should look like, it will be well appreciated.

Well jaytee,
I see you have a lot of excellent advice concerning Live TV. I'll just add a wrinkle.

If your friend says your programming looks old,
Install the kodi Latest Release 14.2 from Google Play Store.
BUT....BEFORE you do that....

Install XBMC Backup

https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-backup-and-restore-xbmc-kodi/

LIVE CABLE TV

USTV for a XBMC/kodi

USTVNow is a service that streams TV channels over internet. They offer a paid service with 28 channels, and a free service that gives a handful of basic channels.

Go to ustvnow.com and sign up for a free account. Remember the email/password that you sign up with. This free account will give you the basic channels.

In XBMC, go to Programs, and then Total Installer.

Select "search for addons". Hit enter.

Select "Manual search". Hit enter.

In the popup box, type "ustvnow". Hit enter.

The list will populate with search matches. Select "ustvnow". Hit enter. Follow the on screen prompts to install the addon.

Now we need to configure ustvnow. Go to videos, and arrow down to addons.

Highlight "ustvnow" and push the Enter Button, to bring up the context menu.

Select "addon settings"

In the box that pops up, enter the email and password that you used to sign up with at ustvnow.

Go to the bottom of the box, and select "Ok".

Now select ustvnow to open the addon. You should see a list that says "live" and "recordings". Select "live". You should see a list of channels.

Select any channel, and hit enter. The selected channel should start playing.

Don't forget to add a shortcut for this addon to your homescreen!

There's also an APK App called US.TV

When Downloaded, it should be available in your Downloads Folder or Apps Folder.

To Install US.TV APK
1.Go to Google Play Store App,
2.Install ES File Explorer. This program can open and install APK's
3.Open Web Browser, in the top URL Field,
Type, http://mediafire.com/download/4g4qen5r94m3b7/com.mdc.ustv-40-v2.9.apk

Download it. ES File Explorer will recognize it and all your future downloads.

ES File Explorer will ask to install.
Yes

US.TV App should be in a Apps folder.

This App will have Free Cable,
HBO 1 &2, SHOWTIME 1&2 AMC, TNT, TBS Etc.

Now vdub25, In my experience is always cutting off and down most of time.

There's an XBMC Program, Mobdro XBMC
It's a lot more stable (no cut offs), than the APK version.

Go to, http://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-how-to-install-mobdro-video-add-on-kodi/

Or

http://tutorial-iptv-xbmc.blogspot.com/2015/08/modbro-add-on-for-kodi-xbmc-download.html?m=1

HOPE THIS HELP!!!☺
