OpenELEC Error with VPN

So I'm very new at android tv boxes, but I keep getting error around OpenElec and the VPN. When I'm in the program VPN for OpenElec and I click on Setup VPN Provider, then setup Private Internet Access (my provider) I just get an error "vpn for openelec error, check the log for more information". Now I have no idea how to check the log or how to get my VPN to work.

Also, when I start up Kodi I just get the same openelec error.

I have an M8S with android version 4.4.2

I could really use some help!
