Hello,

I purchased a DriodBox in April 2017. When I try to check for update using the OTA application I get the error posted in the thread title above.

I had to reset my device. I’ve checked the Android patch version and it says August 2016

I have also tried to re-register using the DriodBox control app and receive a HTTP java trust anchor for certification error.

Please can someone tell me the best way to update

Thank you in advance for your help and support

You are likely on the latest firmware if it is a 2017 model. Factory resetting the device will not mean the device needs to have its firmware updated again. It resets it to default with whatever firmware is currently installed. The Android patch is different to the firmware version, you can find the firmware version on the OTA screen.
