hi I have one of these ott mxq boxes all black with amlogic s805 v3.1 printed on the pcb, I bought it off ebay and when it came its not working and the user is not responding to my messages, basically all that's happening is I'm plugging it in and I get a solid blue light and no signal to tv screen, now ive tried changing hdmi leads, tvs etc to no avail,
then I read about changing firmware etc so I found a firmware and put it on a sd card but I cannot boot the box into recovery mode, nothing happens, I have tried the toothpick method, I have tried the usb burner method also and shorting the nand pins and its just not recognising it, the light does change from blue to red tho sometimes when its unplugged and plugged back in.
do any of you guys know what could possibly be wrong and how I can save it or is it fubar
