Hi all I currently have an IMX6 and have had issues with playback especially when wanting to use a HD or HQ option.
I updated Kodi but used 15.2 final edition I am wondering if it would be better to update with Gotham and go that way .
Also is there an update to firmware available as would prefer box to launch straight through to kodi/xbmc.?
Thanks in advance for help.

Hi

Can you please download android assistant from google play.

Once downloaded, you can use it to clear cashe,do system clear, and also as a task killer.

Once all tasks are closed,Kodi(XBMC) will run much more better.

Also dont forget to use speed test app on your box to measure speed, because that can also affect streaming, not just low RAM memory on the device itself

Regards

To get an application to start automatically, I'd recommend https://droidboxforums.com/threads/startup-manager-free.86/
To see if using MX Player (you'll need to install it from the Play Store if not already installed, see https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/first-run-of-googles-play-store/ for details) as Kodi's default player will help, try the Kodi 15.2 using MX Player as the default video player link from https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/kodi-spmc-and-dbmc-downloads/ . You'll lose the built in subtitle function, but may find HD performance is better.
