Hello: I just completed a successful Kodi install but am experiencing issues with add-on installations. After typing the add-on path and giving the repository a name, I keep receiving the "could not connect to repository, etc." message. "This could be due to...."
I have double-checked the tying of the path to ensure its' accuracy.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue/problem?
Thanks.

It could be your isp blocking your connection. Often an issue with s*y, v*rg*n and B*T users.
Have a look at this article.

https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/uk-isps-blocking-content-how-to-remove-their-filters/

If that doesn't work we will need to try something else.
Also make sure your repo sources are currently active as well. A good way is to type the url into a browser. If a directory structure is returned then the source is good.

Virmin were always blocking my ISP - so much so that I had to go VPN. I was always getting problems not connecting.
