T8 Mini paired with TV remote

Just a quick one - may be helpful to anyone who hates too many remotes. I have an LG Smart TV and I turned Simplink on. Then when I chose the HDMI slot for my T8 Mini - the TV remote controls it. Just a few different buttons but if like me you like a simple remote with no bells or whistles then it works just fine.
One remote now instead of two - just a suggestion for anyone who's interested.

It works on a few different devices. Have a look for CEC options, on the Kitkat based firmware (if present), it was Settings (one/two cogs on the homescreen)>Advanced I think.

It does. I just turned on Simplink and it worked perfectly. Just one less remote for me.
