T8-S Plus OTA not working despite factory reset (Play Store)

Having followed instructions in several previous threads/posts, I still cannot use the OTA to correct the Google Play error (it will not load and simply hangs).
I have factory reset twice following YouTube videos that you posted. OTA message: Error fetching update info: This ROM has not had any released versions yet!
If this is the case, then can you think of another way to fix the Play Store option please that hangs at 'Checking Info'?
