T8-S Plus reboots after OTA Update

Advice needed please- I am the owner of a couple of Droidbox devices with no problems until this weekend when I updated my T8-S plus v1 box via the OTA . Download and subsequent factory reset appeared to go well, but it seems that after an hour (ish) of use the box just reboots with the new 'Splash Screen' logo. No heat issues/ screensaver set to off...

I have tried the box on wifi and Ethernet plus on a different network but it just does the same. I have tried this on the Droidbox DBMC and Kodi apps plus Amazon app with a similar result.

My T8 box suffers no issues nor an android based smart TV on the same Ethernet networks.

So any help would be appreciated from the forums.....

Axel, can you try another factory reset via Android's Recovery Menu https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/accessing-your-droidboxs-recovery-menu/ and see how it goes after that? If possible, don't install anything extra before testing. Also, after the factory reset don't reboot or power off the device for 20 minutes once you can see the launcher's homescreen.

Thanks Chris, I shall try this and use the 'You tube' app on the clean install to see if the problem persists before adding any other apps.

Quick update. Factory reset done but no apps downloaded and it seemed to have worked as I left the box running for a couple of hours. Time to test with apps.. thanks for the help ChrisM
