T8 s stuttering

Has anyone come across movies stuttering and freezing even when being played from a nas drive with a wired connection ?
I've had the box for about a month but every now and again even content from a hard drive stutters . The rest of the time streamed and hard drive media plays faultlessly .

If the hard drive has a utility program available on it/with a CD/online, see if you can see the sleep timer on it (not Windows setting, but actually on the drive's controller). If you can, set it very high as a test, see if the problems remain. Ah, NAS, so could also look if the NAS has sleep settings for drives after inactivity.
