T8 update problem?

I brought a T8 in Feb and I can't update.

The OTA says unsupported rom??? (The ROM developer has not enable the support for the OAT Updater! please ask them kindly to add support before using the app!)

(Otaupdater.otaid value empty or missing)

So then i tried clicking the "UPDATE&BACKUP" and the message i get is Check fail!

So i've factory reset the box and now when i run the wizard in the new xbmc startup it wont run, i am getting "script failed!"

Anyone able to help at all?

Hello @Iceman99 For updating a T8 you have to do it manually by downloading the zip file on a Sd card and then updating it through System Update option in Settings>Other>System Update...
For detailed instructions please check the blog post:

The first part of the blog post is about updating T8-S and when you scroll down you will see in Big Bold letters about how to update a T8.

Tried it when it Reboots it errors out?
