Trying to update firmware

Received the firmware via email, very prompt also, once the android disappears after it's reached the end I'm presented with 4 coloured circles that continue with this graphic sequence. Not sure how long I'm supposed to wait or if it's right. Any ideas.

Leave it for at least a couple of hours if necessary. It shouldn't take that long, but I had one device that needed a flash that took overnight before it completed. Better to play it safe.
