Video settings for NBC sports advice

Hi guys......Do any of you get lots of buffering whilst watching NBC sports?
Ive got a really good download speed, so that shouldnt be an issue.
I use Express VPN which is apparently one of the best ones to use for streaming.
Is there anything in the video settings that i could change to maybe stop it buffering so much??
I know i could lower the bitrate to help things.....but with a strong download speed, it sorts of defeats the object.
Can anyone give any sort of advice to help with NBC buffering so much.?

Try going to system , settings, video , acceleration and check them all. Worked for me.

will have to give that a try... I can get the app to work, but as you say buffer is poor due to the VPN.
Any known vpn that are free and don't slow you down too much...

Hi Ben.....I use a paid for vpn called express vpn......they are supposed to be one of the fastest ones and I still get buffering, and that's with a 152 mb Internet connection!!!!
Sometimes it works well, but more often than not it buffers quite a bit.
I tried the possible solution above but it didn't change anything for me :(
I don't know if it would make any difference by changing the video settings on the control panel on screen?? mine are on default, but I don't know what any of the settings mean.
I just wonder if it's the addon itself that causes the buffering......just guessing.
