Hi, check settings..go click on System>video>Acceleration check decoding method, set to Hardware accelerated, then highlight all underneath. Now go back to system and click system at the bottom, check video setting match your set up. Now go to Audio and check your setting there too. Give that ago. If it doesn't work go back to Acceleration and un highlight one and see if that works

Had problems with video and sound playback on 1080p until I tried the video settings above. Superb quality now. Thanks ever so much.
