I'm having trouble setting up my Ipvanish VPN within VPN Manager in LibraELEC.

From looking at the log it looks like a certificate handshake / TLS Handshake Failure.

I've also looked at setting it up within the LibraELEC settings configuration, but unlike OpenELEC, I'm unable to find the 'Add VPN' section.

Below is the log for VPN Manager.

Unfortunately this is what I followed. I've installed this from the Zomboided repo and I'm running Open VPN 6.0.1

I've tried looking on the DroidBOX help page, but can't find anything related to VPN and LibraELEC settings.

I've just noticed something else looking at the log from above. The date is showing as Thurs Jan 01 2015?

Ill have to look at that tomorrow and see if that's why its failing. How odd. Date and time are ok in android.

I have seen that date issue in android as well. Some kind of date/time sync issue similar to the 1 jan 1970 thing. Fixed that by rebooting. Can you do the same on librelec (reboot) and see if it fixes that?

That didn't work unfortunately. As soon as you boot back into android, it auto corrects it's self. Boot into LibraELEC and back to Jan 1 2015?

I've notified DroidBOX who are aware of this and are advising users to use android for now until a fix is applied.

Update on situation..

I've had a few problems on android side as well that started sascading, so I did a factory reset.

My time and date issue in LibraELEC seams to have been solved and as such my vpn is working now. I don't know if it's relevant but noticed in LibraELEC that my Internet connection (ethernet) intermittently drops in and out. I'll have to keep an eye on that.
