how do you get your keyboard back when you go to search for something in genesis?

a few weeks ago koi was playing up so someone suggested i try wookie instead.is there any way i can get rid of cookie and restore my t8 back to its original settings as wookie doesn't seem to work well? any help would be greatly appreciated
