Many thanks, its working now! A long press brings up a white box just inside the window with a red cross and 'remove'. Clicking on this deletes it. I'm sure I've tried this before without success but now it works! Thanks again!

No, that doesn't work. However dragging it to the left dumps it on another screen which gets it out of the way. Thanks for the suggestion.

In the instructions for themicroUSB cable method it does not tell you to plug in the power supply, only the micro USB cable. What is the correct sequence of reset button, power cable and micro USB cable? Thanks for any help!
