Go Droidsticks website and download their T8 firmware. Flash to the box. That will sort it out. Your warranty will already be lost if you flashed megatron firmware on it. Megatron T8 firmware is a ported M8 version and does not work properly on the T8.

Just thought it would stop people from flashing custom firmware that's made from port old firmware. If I flash the latest droisticks T8 firmware can I still use the droidbox wizard. Regards Stana

Any chance that Droidbox will post a link for the new firmware update rather than having to send the box back. Droidsticks allow anybody to download their firmware. I know Droidbox don't want their firmware to go to anybody so an OTA firmware download could be the answer for Droidbox owners...

Gone back to xbmc and still getting incompatible addons. is there going to be a wizard update with kodi so that the dependancies can be met and the addons work again. Also what is this conflict with AAA streams and TV Addons. You can only have one or the other.

No not yet. Going to get in touch with droidbox support to see if I can try a different firmware.

Try the app bionicTCP from the app store. it improved my downloads.

Hi SilentlyScreaming. I have just swapped the mediaboxlauncher.apk in the system directory with the launcher from another custom firmware I had and it worked a treat but it has the droid tv logo on it so I swapped back. is there a way that droidbox could make just the launcher apk with the Kodi...

Sorted. I updated to Kodi Helix and re ran the wizard. all updated ok. ran the kodi keyboard fix and worked a treat. HQzone not logging in again but I am not worried about that now as aaa streams is working again. downloaded bionic tcp app and my network speeds are fixed so maybe no more...

I have tried all the settings and find that 1080p works best with the T8. I have a ENY M8box that works perfectly in 4K. That's why I think it is a firmware issue with 4K.
