can x7 only work on certain tvs

I got a Samsung full hd 40 inch lcd tv x7 works fine powers up everything works great .

But on cheap grundi hd ready tv x7 doesn't even power up .

So does it depend what tv you use for the x7 to power up and work

The box should power up, but it could be the software in the tv is not suitable. As the Sansung tv probably has all the latest software installed. Check the instuctions for a what software is installed. Some tvs also update software to, via the Internet...

I'll check U need to attach hdmi first l. I get error message when trying to sign into droid box wizard says go to add ons where abouts is that in xdmc thanks

If you go to system> click on it you should get a list there if you go down you will find add-on there.

If you want movies and tv shows, us CartoonHD 1+2, Genesis, Phoenix, 1channel, Icefilms and NaviX is good for this too. For Sky channels HQzone if it lets you go in. Also AAAtv streams some in Phoenix too. Hope this helps you...
