Cannot browse NAS via NFS

Hi guys,

I wonder if you could please help me with this one. I have a couple of Synology NASs, both with NFS shares set up, sys is mapped to admin, and they're enabled for high port access.

When I boot to OpenELEC I can access them fine, but when I boot to Android / XMBC I can see the NFS shares, but when I try and browse beneath them it just won't do it. It just makes the click noise and nothing happens. I've tried it by manually adding the source, and by browsing and neither allow me to go beneath the share itself.

Do you have any ideas why this could be?

Sorry about the delay with this response.
Mostly Windows devices here, @Dan Rowland , so I suspect you may well be the source of knowledge for this protocol.
Can you take a quick look at https://www.hanewin.net/nfs-e.htm and let me know if anything jumps out at you? If it looks OK (in terms of what it supports matching your set up roughly) I'll install it here and do some testing.

Ah, was it insecure ports needing to be enabled that did the trick?

No I'd enabled the insecure ports actually, but it was removing 'locks' in the exports
