Hi
On my droidbox, dbmc is using 2.89 gb, whilst kodi 17 is 0.99 gb. My dbmc setup is pretty similar to kodi. What has dbmc going on that makes it this size?
It's not a problem, I am just curios to know.
Thank you

Temp files/cache perhaps?

Open the two locations up in ES File Explorer (you'll need to turn Show Hidden Files on first from the tools menu).
start from Android then Data. Click the folder with Kodi or DBMC in it (as needed), then click files, now either .kodi or .dbmc, then check which folders are largest (long click until the folder is ticked, now select Properties from the menu at the bottom.

Is it possible you've turned the device off sometimes, without exiting DBMC properly? Anyway, those temp files account for some of the size difference, the rest are presumably hiding in one of the other folders. Perhaps thumbnails etc?
