You could try AirDroid - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid&hl=en - to connect to your T8 and view the output from your device on your laptop. I've not checked the T8, but sometimes AirDroid rotates the screen preview by 90 degrees. Failing that, if you have an old TV with SCART or RCA sockets (but not HDMI), you could use that with phono leads. I think we still have a post on it somewhere, hang on.

For a direct connection to your laptop's screen, you'd need to have HDMI in (very rare), or RCA/Phono (composite video) in, still quite rare. I'd try AirDroid first.
