DroidBox T8-s Plus OTA update

Can someone please tell me how to backup my original factory firmware before I do an OTA update to my T8-s plus so if I don't like something or something stops working with the update (like the format HDD in Openelec disappearing) so I can go back to original version I had.

Not possible as far as I know (might be possible if you could get a custom recovery installed, like TWRP, but the steps for that (if available) could risk your warranty).
If you really didn't like an update, you could send it in to our office to have it reflashed with an older firmware, though there'd likely be a small charge.
