I'm hitting the road and would love entertainment at the other end. Wondered if it was possible to synch up my TS8+ Droidbox and use it on a 2011 Macbook Pro that doesn't have an HDMI connection, only a ThunderBolt port. I can't seem to find any info online that says it is possible with a mini display port converter. Anyone have any advice on how to do this?

Thanks

That's very helpful Nigelar, thank you. I was hoping to plug my exisiting box in so I don't have to make a brand new build - is there a way around that?

The easiest solution all round would be to load a pre existing build (e.g Sean's build) or one of the others onto the Mac Kodi. It will probably give you everything you need entertainment wise.
It is possible to back up an existing build and then reload onto your Mac but that would require several difficult and tense activities. And would end up spoiling your road trip.
So keep it simple !
