External media player update

Hi

After following the guide regarding xml playercorefactory, i get the message click ok when etc even when i have vlc installed. Is there an updated version of the xml file to use please. Ive now deleted this file so kodi can work normally but would be great if this can be resolved.

Can you enter a reply to this thread, with
a copy&paste of the contents for your XML file in use on the device please?

Also, let us know which version of XBMC you're using.

Hi sorry for the delay but its the guide you posted in guides. I changed the rules at the bottom to vlcplayer but the vlc version i have is a beta version so maybe its that.

I have found out via the keyboard if you press 'y' it will give you dvdplayer anyway as default. It would be great if other players could be accessed for eg vlc mxplayer etc as ive had some problems with stuttering on 1080p live feeds and it could be handy if other players could be tried.
