i have a droidbox x7 quadcore rk3188,i was wondering if i should do the f/w upgrade to cope with gotham 13.2 and the new h/a features for playback,i can use gotham np but was wondering if the new firmware would improve matters and what this upgrade actually does to improve things.last firmware update was jan/feb 2014

I'd stick with what you have, as right now firmware upgrades need to be done in our office, and if something is working, I'd not try to change the firmware.
That said, you'll need to check which version of the X7 you have when our firmware files become available online in the futre. Check the bottom of the device for a label/printed text or nothing there at all.

I'll check with the owner. I was helping at the forum that time last year, but didn't have my device (Xmas present) or work for DroidBOX at the time, so I'm not certain which version that would be.
got all the tech details in about device in settings so should have np getting the correct new firmware when available
