Hard Reset Problemn

Tried a hard reset, with recovery.img on a SD card, it just keeps booting back to the recovery screen now. Can anyone help been at this for a few weeks on and off, Someone said they would talk me through flashing it but I didn't have an SD Card at the time

Can I check if you've since removed the SD card? When you used the recovery.img file on an SD card, did you go through the Factory reset/wipe data option? If not, try that first. Then make sure you remove the SD card, or delete the recovery.img file from it at least.
