Help needed with DTS Problem

Love my Droidbox,and love kodi, but I have a really irritating problem!
I have a home cinema amp, complete with 5.1 setup, now I ALWAYS used to use the android version of Kodi with no issues but 17 won't let me play DTS stuff! (up to and including 17.6)
I have followed the setup on here with no luck
BUT if I switch to libreelec with EXACT same config I get DTS no issues ?!
Does anyone know how to cure this?
I'd rather use the android boot if poss BUT with DTS!

There is no fix at the moment as this is pure android backend issue.
