can I update my firmware to a newer version to play these files. my box does not seem to be able to play these newer 1080 videos they will load and play but not correctly they stutter and run slowly. i have the mali 400 quad core box running 4.2.2 ,armv7 ,or do I need to update to a newer box. i have had my box for a couple of years now and still works great

Think it's time to upgrade your box, have a look at droidboxs T8-S and T8-S plus box. If you have had boxes before you will love these....

Check specifications carefully for HEVC / H.265 decoding in hardware. The T8-S doesn't have this, I believe the Q8-S and T8-S Plus both do.
thanks ss I have checked and I know the t8 don't play hvec ,I was just seeing if there was anything I could before I got a new box, thanks matey
