I could benefit from any help at all at learning what's things are, and how to use box correctly?

Hello,

I have recently purchased a box, well my brother got it for me and to be honest my level of understanding is so low I had never heard of this untill recently!
I am absolutely brand new to this and have no clue what I'm really doing..
I was able to use genisis ok and I understand that some streams won't work, but my box stopped working and even after clearing caches ( as directed by brother) I am 100% mind boggled.
Any help with getting to understand this would be very appreciated if you have the patients to teach me that is! :/

I'd read through the FAQ, Guides and Android Application areas of this forum, as well as the blog ( http://DroidBOX.co.uk/blog ) to get a feel for some parts of this. Try and keep an eye for which hosts have streams that don't work. If XBMC or an add-on list a source as #1 then it doesn't necessarily mean it is the most likely to work, or be fast. If you're not used to XBMC (new name is Kodi), a flick through their wiki - http://kodi.wiki/ - might help.
