I will be honest. I have kodi on other devices. Do i notice a difference to gotham 13.2 running on my t8? Answer NO! So i don't think you are missing much.

Hi, Kodi helix 14.1 is more up to date then Gotham 13.2 so people what it. There's not much difference in them apart running smoother and future proof for now. Kodi has just released Isengard 15.0 witch is still early days, but soon add-ons like on the Frodo build of xbmc, will stop working. So its always best to get the last build. I have the imx6 box running Frodo 12.2 and I've lost a few add-ons due to not being supported any more. I also have a T8 with both Gotham and Helix on it and there only a slight difference. Kodi have already said they will be dropping support for Apple TV 2 and the little Rasperry pie. Also people always want the latest thing too....
