Kodi Update/Grade

Can I upgrade my box to kodi 17?.

I have tried but got an error saying something about the android version no compatible.

If it is the original T8-S (not a T8-S Plus or T8-S Plus v2) then FTMC (see https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/get-kodi-17-krypton-on-android-4-jellybean-devices/ ) or CEMC (in the Play Store - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.xbmc.cemc ) would be your best bets if you want something more recent than Kodi 16.1, as Kodi 17 requires Android 5, and the original T8-S has Android 4.4 .

If your android 4.4 then you cant upgrade to Kodi 17.3.

However there are Kodi 17 Forks available that will give you a Kodi version of 17.

http://nodifork.com is a good clone. Looks and acts exactly like kodi and works on android 4.4
