I purchased this box today, come home to set it up and there are no add ons in KODI for me to install all the programs they said the box comes with, I also don't have XBMD installed either, any help would be great

Hi. If you have kodi then you have XBMC as that is its new name.
In kodi, open the programs tab and look for something called the wookie and run it. That will set up your addons.
If the wookie is not there follow these instructions

Hi I have tried to follow the steps to install and it says could not retrieve directory information any other advise? Thanks

free needs to be in lower case, with that blog's formatting, all characters are uppercase. You might want to add a note on the post, also consider using Confluence as the skin in screenshots/menu descriptions, as a lot of people will come with a naked Kodi install, not the Aeon Nox skin.
