I have a droidbox x7 which I have used for a long time. I recently loaned it to someone and it would not connect thruogh any of his hdmi sockets but works on all other tv,s including his socond tv. The hdmi sockets on the tv work with all other equipment we tried. I think possibly its because the tv is 200hz and the highest setting is 60hz on the droidbox but not sure. Are There any firmware updates which allow 200hz or auto detect refresh rates. hope someone can help but maybe he needs a newer box.

Lower refresh rates won't be a problem, I'd assume it was the resolution.
On one of the TVs that do display a picture, head to Settings, then Display or Screen. We're looking to turn off the automatic HDMI mode/resolution feature, then try manually setting it to 720p and 1080p at 50 and 60Hz.
After setting the first resolution and refresh rate, re-connect to other TV. Repeat until a mode is found that that one TV likes.
