No sound through Optical ?

My optical out has stopped working for some reason. Swapped cables and it has the red light coming through but no sound.

HDMI works fine. I use the optical through my cinema system.

Digital audio detection is set to "on" and was in this position when it worked previously.

Any ideas ?

If you go to setting on the first menu when you boot up and try going to Advanced then set it to passthrough and PCM.
Also in Kodi go to system, system and Audio output and set to passthrough here to. Also set number of channels to 2.0 and further down highlight Dolby Digital (AC3) and Enable Dolby Digital transcoding. See if this helps you..
