Please Help Search issues

Apologies in advance if i am just being stupid here but every time I try to search for something I.e in genesis or another add-on after I hit done in the keyboard menu it just closes and the loading circle goes for a few second then nothing at all. This is a new box (mxq) I also have a zoomteck box in another room and it seems to be working fine, any advice or solutions would be appreciated

Not sure how this didn't get answered previously, our apologies.

For something so fundamental as all searches failing, I'd first exit Kodi/XBMC and open the Browser/Chrome app on your DroidBOX and visit this forum to check data coming through OK. THIS ASSUMES YOU HAVE YOUR WIZARD USERNAME AND PASSWORD TO HAND.

If this forum loads OK, clear Kodi/XBMC's data (Settings from homescreen, if a colourful interface then OTHER tab, then MORE SETTINGS, Apps, Click on Kodi/XBMC/SPMC , then FORCE STOP and confirm, then CLEAR DATA and confirm) then open it up again, run the Wizard, select Confluence pack this time at least and follow on screen instructions.
