Hi Team,

I am getting terrible connection speeds over ethernet and wifi (5G). Ethernet shows less than 10mb when using Ookla speed test and the wifi connection is worse.

I have 150mb connection from Virgin and my other devices show near 130mb both over wired and wifi.

Symptoms of slow connection are apps are slow to download and update, media sites that attempt to detect connection speed always choose the slowest resolution and framerate or show no video at all (e.g. BBC iPlayer). Sites like MovieTube.co take a long time to buffer.

Any help gratefully received,

OK, can you send is an e-mail please - [email protected] (with the info mentioned here - http://www.droidboxforums.com/threads/what-to-include-if-you-need-to-e-mail-us.364/ ) and a link to this thead - http://www.droidboxforums.com/posts/5463 . Actually, can you run a quick test first, just for the sake of fuller background info for the rest of the support team, can you disconnect from the 5GHz band, and connect to the 2.4GHz band of your WiFi network, and then re-run the Speedtest app. If you have the time and inclination, http://www.droidboxforums.com/threads/wifi-analyzer.83/ (WiFi Analyzer) on the T8 and possibly another Android phone/tablet, would tell us the actual signal strength (and any possible interference) the T8 is getting on WiFi as well - you can flip it between 2.4GHz and 5GHz network strength readouts.

OK, we've got the messages from the 10th on our system, Jermaine answered about the difference in price and P&P. He should have also included the return details, I think he was waiting for a reply first. I'll correct that now.
107108 is good reference to include. I'll leave it here for ease of reference.

[edit]
Awaiting info from someone in the office, once we have that the e-mail can be sent.

Hopefully the next firmware will bring better results. I've got a new firmware to test, PM me if you're happy to experiment with it. It isn't a public release yet, nor can I guarantee it will improve matters.
