should T 8 box be turned off at night

Hi sorry if this a daft question but
do l turn my T8 off completely when not in use or do l retern to home screen and just turn tv off when not in use ?

I leave mine in standby, but there's nothing wrong with powering off. I find if you turn the router off when its on can sometimes cause probs but that's been down to personal experience .

Hi thanks for the fast responce sorry but what is the difference between power down and stand by as my box seems to have various statuses ie red ligh on no clock , blue light no clock ,blue light with clock .

Standby is red light no clock, when you turn your box of and its blue light no clock push the red power off button again until red light no clock. Power off is standby and unplug. Hope this helps and thanks for buying a droidbox. Dave
