You haven't given much detail about the Droidbox you have, version of Kodi etc.
But a starting point would be to clear Kodi cache either via one of the maintenance tools if you have one installed or go to android settings - apps and either Kodi or dbmc depending on what you use. Look for the "clear cache" button and do it. See if it works. Do not press clear data.
