Just in case anyone has an aversion to the Play Store and prefers to manually install via APK downloads, http://spmc.semperpax.com/
@ChrisM worth noting that as of spmc 16.5 android lollipop is a minimum requirement for new versions of spmc.
This is worth noting for current owners of boxes running android 4.4.2 or less. May also have implications for those box owners for any future dbmc fork of spmc based on this version.
