T8 box not allowing date later than 1993 to be entered.

I am having a problem trying to get the date to go past 1993. For some reason, today it has reverted back to 1970, and will not let me pass any further.

It is a new box (couple of weeks old!) and has the latest versions of Android, and Kodi installed.

Please can someone tell me why I can't change it any further than this? I am trying via the settings on the box, not with Kodi.

@bltsandwich Sorry your thread didn't get a response originally. If the problem is still around, can you e-mail us, see my sig for details. Worth checking if you can visit this forum in a browser on your device, whether a google of your ISP name and "NTP" throws up any reports like we had with an Irish ISP recently.
Also, could you let them know in the e-mail if using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.org.amip.ClockSync&hl=en helped to get the date correct? If it did, can you let us know as I'd like to look into this further.
