T8 Mini

Hi I have just purchased a shiny new T8 Mini to replace my old X7 which I am more than happy with!
Only thing I can't work out is how to switch from one app to another without it closing the app I was on?
For eg if I am downloading something in DBMC then return to the home screen to do something else while I wait. When I return to DBMC it restarts and no download!
Used to be able to open up many apps on the X7 ultimate? Anyone got any advice on this! Most welcome thanks!

Double tap the return/back button, seems to minimise my kodi and keep it running.

If you've a controller with Alt + Tab keys on a QWERTY keyboard, you can use this to swap between applications (same was as with Windows... hold down the ALT key, don't release it, tap TAB once, then as many more TAB presses until app you want is highlighted on screen, then you can release the ALT key).
